How to use PNG to JPG Converter

Why is my PNG file so large?

PNG is lossless, so detailed images and screenshots can be several megabytes. JPG uses compression that is usually much smaller for photos.

What happens to transparency?

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with a white background.

Are my files uploaded?

No. HEIC Photo processes files locally in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to a server, saved in cloud storage, or sent to analytics. Optional analytics only receive non-identifying usage signals after consent.
